It’s quite a big thing for me buying brand new clothes from

proper shops but at the weekend I had a mega blow out in Marks & Spencer in Blackpool. We only went in to get some provisions for breakfast.
I came out with two dresses, a skirt, a trouser suit and a cardigan plus two pair of ankle boots. GULP !!!
The shop was really well laid out, the new autumn range fantastic and the shop assistants some of the nicest I’ve met.
I put the floral dress above with my old biker jacket and some new Bench plimsolls from Deichmanns ( yes another retail shop we went in)
I haven’t let the side down though as here I am in my charity shop Laura Ashley dress and £3 jumper (think it’s hand knitted) and my charity shop basket.
This is one of two handmade dresses I got from an Instagramer as is the skirt below. I’ve had my tan Clarke’s boots for years and they were just the job for our country music Festival.

A part of me has a dread of looking like everyone else by wearing mainstream clothes. I’m hoping that by styling the new clothes with my own vintage and charity shop finds I will still retain my individuality.
I’ll post pics of my other M&S purchases soon.
