Happy flipping new year. I thought I would never get here.
I can just see what they will put on my headstone
"She was nothing, if not persistent"
You won't believe the problems I'm having trying to get
my pictures to upload onto blogger.
So after many hours of navel gazing I've found a long
winded way around it. Don't ask !
The opposite view to this is me sat at my desk leaning on
my elbows tapping my fingers thinking about what I can
offer as a show and tell today.
Well I have started stitching another winter scarf
using patchwork tweeds.
Do you remember the one I made before Christmas
for a friend's birthday. She loved it by the way.
More pics of it here WINTER TWEED SCARF
Need to catch up on the desk hopping so
I'll hand you over to the lovely Julia over at WOYWW HQ
for you to be inspired by some very talented people.
sorry you've been having trouble with your photos - but happy new year!! Helen 2
ReplyDeleteNice to see you here Lynn. Love that photograph (sorry you have been having trouble and now have a long winded way to show us pictures) of your window, or should I say wall with a view. I can just picture myself sat somewhere like that. Now how can I get some bricks out and glass in to a wall in my house?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous scarf, no wonder the friend liked the one you gave her.
Take care, Hugs, Neet 4 xx
Honestly, the whole business of doing a blog post seems to take an eternity sometimes. Quite a commitment it can be. But look at you, Miss Determined! Where there's a will there's a way I always say. Your studio is such a lovely space, I think I'd spend hours just pottering, but you always manage to create something beautiful. Glad your friend loved her scarf. Xxx
ReplyDeleteLynn, that view in your pleasant room is one I'd love to be gazing at often!I have run out of energy to blog this week.Feel flat and uninspired. At least you're a stayer and got your photos up there!Love the scarf by the way!

Hi Lynn.. sorry blogger isn't playing nicely with you.. boo! I have been trying out the blogger app for my mobile as I like to type when I am on the train and it adds photos ok... but never finds the ones I watermark.. so I need a way around that.
ReplyDeleteLoving the look of those scarves.. so pretty!

Hi Lynn. How ever do you do any work in that gorgeous room with that view. I can only imagine what it looks like when the clouds lift... I'd spend all my time simply gazing! The scarf was lovely - well done. And now you are heading into another one. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteWhat a room! I'm terribly jealous, even though it is overcast.
ReplyDeleteThe start of that scarf looks amazing and your little piglet in the corner put a smile on my face. What a great creative space.
bisous

Gorgeous room with a gorgeous view, Lynn! Love your sewing too. Thank you for such a nice comment - and I'm glad you like my efforts! As for my wretched wisdom tooth, I'm still hoping it will settle down without intervention as I'm terrified of having stuff done at the dentist at the best of times, and this would be pretty horrendous, I think.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Blogger can be very single minded at times. Lovely to see you are making another scarf. Hopefully for you to keep this time.

ReplyDeleteHappy Belated WOYWW. It is wonderful to see the view that you have. My craft room overlooks our farmyard - and it is often busy at the moment with machinery/animals. Ali x #29
