Even though it rained all weekend we had a lovely time with friends
Vix & Jon aka Kinky Melon's Retro Boutique from Walsall.
On Friday night we went down to the local pub for a meal and a few beers.
Then Saturday it had to be a trip over to our favourite spot of Todmorden. After buying provisions on the market and a mooch around the charity shops it was into the Old Co-op for a gorgeous vegetarian lunch and a bit of shopping.
Naturally we couldn't walk past Picture House Antiques without popping in
to see what goodies were in store this week.
I did resist a little sepia picture and a miniature musical
sewing box, I may have to go back for them during the week.
This is the dress I wore Friday night, its one I picked up from Jane Hamilton at Judy's Affordable Vintage last year in Manchester
This Plutina dress, worn on Saturday, was another from Jane Hamilton when she was at York Festival of Vintage earlier this year.
This is my brain fog head ..... I still haven't solved the problem of why only some of my pictures load from my phone to my pc. I am very persistent and will keep trying. Well either that or I'll be hitting the two bottles of wine that Vix & Jon brought us.
Loving those Jane Hamilton dresses! Thanks so much for linking up to Visible Monday,

Technology sometimes.... bah! Have some more wine, my dear. xxx
ReplyDeleteAw, bet you had the best time with Vix and Jon. I knew Todmorton would be part of it :) can't wait to hear what Vix has to say about it all. I love your dresses, particularly the Friday night one. Looks like embroidery down the front? Oh god, fog brain. You've hit the nail on the head there. I think I live with that cloud settled on my shoulders. Keep up the good work, you'll get there. Xxx
ReplyDeleteBoth dresses are lovely, and I'm loving the photo of you and Vix. I had a good chuckle at the brain fog head picture, but I'm thinking the problem lies with that pesky PC, and not you. They should know their place, but they do have a mind of their own ... ;-) Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you all had a great time Lynn ^_^ Tell Vix I think her maxi is GORgeous!! Hope the photo problem goes away soon. xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you! xxx
DeleteDidn't we have a fabulous time? The hours flew by! Delicious dinners, seeing your gorgeous home for real and your wonderful company, we hardly noticed the rain.
ReplyDeleteJon opened his pressies when he got home and loved his cat and tortoise goodies, thank you both!!
You know me, I'm a Nokia granny phone and a creaky PC so I'm not sure if this link will help the technological woes: http://www.digitaltrends.com/photography/best-ways-get-photos-android/
