I saw this on a friends Facebook page and I couldn't help but smile. I think many of us can relate to this.
Don't be fooled by this clean desk this is an old pic I found when I was looking for something else. Its to remind me what I'm supposed to be doing (clearing up) when I'm faffing around.
Just before I go here's another pic I found of some of the Doodly Bird series. I hadn't realised it was as early as 2011. How time flies !

Hehehe I have fabric to use every one of those labels....It's all folded now but still needs sorting into colours/types etc but I am so indecisive that I am struggling to decide what should go with what to be the easiest way to find something when it's needed. I'm sure we will get our spaces sorted at some point Lynn....have fun.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Annie x
I had to smile at the fabric picture Lynn. I think my paper should be labeled in this way! Your "tidy" picture makes me feel guilty. My craft cabin is in such need of a tidy that there's hardly room for me inside at present and my friend is keen to come round to "play". The Doodly bird clock is great. Have a lovely week. Barbxx
ReplyDelete'clean' and 'desk' used together with out a negative, as in 'not'? I don't understand!! :D
ReplyDeleteAll my fabric can go under the heading "What was I thinking," or "To be overdyed." Such fun.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the Doodly Birds, and actually remember them. You were so far ahead of the times, because now the Crazy Birds have taken over the stamping and die cut industry.
Glad to see you at Friday Smiles. I had a good laugh at your desk, because I've been following your process of cleaning and decluttering.
Oh yes - we all have fabric too nice to part with!! x Jo
ReplyDeleteYour Doodly birds always make me smile. I love that fabric pic! Take care Zo xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photographs. Love the birdies and I can relate to the fabric sentiments Lol! Angela x
ReplyDeleteHa I can relate to that, although I haven't got any fabric, I have lots of patterned paper. I often buy pretty paper which I then deem too pretty to use.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Blessings,
Lisca
"Too pretty to use" is the bane of my life. hahaha! I'm working on that one.... xx
ReplyDeleteThe 'Doodlies' always make me smile....
ReplyDeleteAre you quite sure you haven't sneaked in to photgraph my stash? nah! I don't remeber writing those notes but they're so true!
ReplyDeleteJo x
If my fabric was sorted, that could be my stash!!! Haa Haa!!!
ReplyDeleteLoving those little Doodlies birdies. They have made me smile.
Sorry if you had a tear earlier. Some of the kind comments I have received has done that to me too!
Hugs and thanks for popping over.
xxx
Time doesn't wait for any of does it? I did smile at the fabric photo. I am the same but with me it is paper. I could cover every wall in the house with my stash, but I'll settle for just sorting through it and stroking the odd sheet for now! Have a good week. Kate x
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn and a late Happy Friday/Weekend. I just love your doodly birds and I sure did get a chuckle with the fabric pick - it looks pretty anyway. Enjoy your weekend Robyn
ReplyDeleteYeah, that photo made me smile too :) And those birdies are simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat first pic really made me laugh, just because it's so true. I've just wrote a blog post with a pic of my very tidy craft room. It looks nice tidy hehe x
