*hand in the air*. Ooh, I know, I know! It's a Mancala board, we had one for a while as my family are mad on board games, but we never really got on with it. Much better for display. The Clanger pipes make me happy and I love what you've done with the mincer, my mum used to have one exactly like it! Thanks for the support today, Hugs, LLJ xxxx
I was going to say the mystery thing is a golf ball holder but I see Jan has the answer. I love your new finds and what you've used them for....we had a green mincer just like yours. I really love the Clanger family...you are clever. I've just had a treasure from you through my post box...thank you so much. Jo is in charge of posting mine for me next week :-) It's raining here today so I guess we will all be enjoying creative times...it's a good excuse isn't it? Hugs, Annie x #13
I love what you've done with the mincer - it takes me back to my childhood and being allowed to turn the handle! I was going to guess that the holder was for glass eyeballs as it's too round for eggs but I see Jan has the answer, clever girl! Where do you find these wonderful oddities!?
The mincer is gorgeous and what a great idea, love it. The Clangers are great too. Hope you have a great woyww and a happy crafty week too, Angela x 20
I love your mincer - I remember those! it looks fabulous as a plant display. I don't know the game Jan refers to but it does look as if it should be an eye storage box!! Have fun. Helen #1
Cor, your readers are a clever bunch. I've read the answer and I'm still none the wiser! :D Your little clay pipe Clangers are really the cutest little family. Quick, do an animation and sell it to the Beeb! Xxxx
You blimmin' genius! Jon and I were drooling over a yellow enamel mincer last week in a chazza but decided to leave it as I'd never uses. Why on earth didn't I think "plant holder!" It's an amazing idea. xxxx
I haven't heard of a clanger pipe before. They make a cute family! I love going to thrift shops and yard sales. It's fun to reinvent your finds! Happy belated WOYWW! Hugs Kay
Hello Lynn. Love how you have used the mincer!!! Great work. Is the final piece an egg holder??
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteI love that Clanger clay pipe family! I was thinking the mystery object would be something to do with eggs, but surely that's too easy ... xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, great photos, never the less. Awesome Clanger family, and so love what you did with the mincer. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #2 xxx
ReplyDeleteClangers are awesome! Yep, mancala or African bean game board... We couldn't get on with it either!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use for a mincer! I love it. And the clay pipes. How creative. I'm not sure about the wooden thing - maybe a mold of some kind.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

ReplyDeleteLove the mincer display - the Clanger pipes *ROCK!* and I think the beads are a red herring and the 'thing' is a mould of some description. xoxoxo
