A BREAK FROM SHED AND SHELF BUILDING

I've started taking part in the INDEX CARD EVERY DAY art card challenge.
I'm late to the party as it's started on 1st June and continues to 31st July.
You don't have to do it every day and can create what you like as long as it's on an index card.  If you get stuck for ideas there are a series of prompts to follow.
My cards started with doodling using different mediums, then I introduced machine stitching and buttons and finally, as you can see on my latest card, fabric.

Doodling & Stitching

I'm creating some art cards using the colours I started using when I was on holiday and doodling merrily away at our caravan.
This card started with me machine stitching some boxes then doodling flowers with promarkers.
To finish off I added little coloured buttons.  Are you creating anything new ?

Friday Smiles

I smiled when the lovely men from Greener Gardens finished the flagging & fencing at my Mum!s new house.
I smiled at kikki being an intrepid explorer on the moors.
I smiled when my neighbour gave us the news that she has a new grandson.
This is his baby box, im putting in a pair of bootees and a blanket  that my lovely friend Helen made.

What's on my workdesk today .....

Nothing on my desk today as I've just come back from a lovely few days at our caravan in the Lake District.  I did do a bit of doodling though while I was there.
Hope you have all had a busy time at your desks as well as enjoying the sunshine.

YOU CAN'T BEAT A BIT OF DOODLING

I've done lots of Doodly practising this week while I've been at our caravan in the Lake District.
There is always something else to be doing when I'm at home.  I can hear you agreeing with me.
Today I've been playing around with Promarkers, Koh-i-noor paints and some cheap pencil crayons that will be going in the bin after, they were rubbish.

Last ones from Sizergh Castle

Sizergh Castle is a beautiful National Trust property in the South Lakes, Cumbria.
This typewriter is in better condition than the one I've got in my garden.
Inside the castle
Looking down into the hall.
The beehives in the garden.
That's it from Sizergh. Time for a cuppa and a cake I think
