What's on my workdesk today ....

I just mentioned to a friend that I had made a compendium of games out of a piece of Amazon packaging.
"Let's have a look" she said.
"Ok" said I
So here it is
The kids love it
I even made some cardboard dice.
Thanks for popping by.

What arrived and what went out.

These have arrived as guests in my Doodly Bird Shop.  They are made by crafter June of Cardiff who knits quirky toys for charity.
If you want to see more link across here
Princess Kikki was inundated with welcome to your new home gifts this week, including this Yappy Christmas bandana, a doggy advent calendar and all these treats.  Thank you Granny Twinkle.
We had a lovely arrival in the form of baby Jack, who is my friend Mo's new grandson, weighing in at 10lb 7oz.  "Ouch".
I made some gifts for my friend Jane's birthday
and delivered a goodie bag of treats to my beautiful goddaughter Macy who is 11 this week.
Postman John was also busy bringing supplies for me to get crafting with.  So I better get on with it.

CHRISTMAS PLAY DAY .....

As part of my Mum's 80th birthday celebration nine of us went on a Christmas Craft Play day, organised by the lovely Tracy Anker of Slaidburn.

We made tags, a pair of beaded earrings
a lovely layered fabric brooch
and this is my snow bear which I need to finish off.

It was another fun packed day and as always Tracy's skills as a hostess and cook were brilliant. A big thanks goes to Mike her hubby who kept us supplied in tea and coffee.
Mum's birthday cake which my neighbour Amy Goggins made.

What's on my workdesk today....

Well there is this pile of goodies from Kim Tillyer of www.witchmountain.wordpress.com
who sent it to me after I took up her challenge of someone taking a photograph of themselves holding her sketchbook at the SKETCHBOOK PROJECT in London recently.  Good luck to Kim in her new job too.

Then there are a pile of orders waiting to be finished and sent out.
Something else arrived this week which caused me to have these on my desk
no lights on our lane, hence the torch
And here she is little Kikki the Papillon who is now in her forever home.
She comes almost twelve months to the day since we lost gorgeous Bobby.

Here's a link to some more desks to have a look at
and thanks for looking in.
Don't forget to have a look whats going on in the sketchbooks of

Time to go home

Sadly yesterday it was time to say goodbye to our caravan for the winter

The trees looked bare, everyone had locked up and gone
The barbeque was covered in leaves

and one solitary fuschia hung on for grim death.
But the on the way home we cheered up as we were on our way to pick up this little sweetheart,
KIKKI from the Papillon Rescue centre.
She has come to live with us  and within minutes of being home
she settled herself in.
You can see who is the boss in this house now.

Ive no doubt there will be many a tale to tell.
She has already been visiting Harvey & Elliot the Labradors down the lane and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
