I’ve picked up this basket of knitting again. Maybe this winter I will get this waistcoat finished. Only one side to do but don’t hold your breath will you
My friend has just finished knitting this cardigan for me. I added the buttons from my stash and now it’s ready to wear.
Hope you all have a great crafty week over at
I have a mohair jumper part knitted that I started donkeys years ago.. so well done you! Love the cardi. Helen #1

Your knitting is still further along than my Afghani dress, I still haven't taken the pattern out of the envelope yet!!
ReplyDeleteLoving what your friend made, the colours are fantastic. I can just about manage a square! xxx
Love that new cardigan that your friend knit for you; beautiful colours. My record for unfinished garments is a jumper that I started knitting on my last maternity leave and is still unfinished. As the 'baby' turned 18 last week i don't think it's going to get finished! Happy WOYWW Sarah #19
ReplyDeleteOooh, I LOVE the cardigan! I watch Scandinavian crime-series lately and some of the characters wear those lovely knitted sweaters and cardigans...makes my fingers itch to start knitting again - or maybe it's the time of year? Anyway, have fun, curl on the couch and knit! Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland, Marit #17
ReplyDeleteLove the title, well at least you have got back to it. Love the colours in the cardi. BJ#5
ReplyDeleteLove the post title! At least you already picked up the basket ... As for the cardigan your friend knitted: what a great piece of knitting. Love the colours and the vintage buttons added by you! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn. love the colours of the wool in that cardigan. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 XxXx
ReplyDeleteI can do better than that Lynn, knit one, skip five years Lol! I have a cardigan half knitted using some gorgeous Kaffe Fassett yarns and it's at least five years since I started it but not sure it will ever get finished now. Have a great week and a happy woyww, Angela x11x
