The Boots are on

I think we can kiss goodbye to summer now.
Woolly jumpers are back out including the man's vintage knitted waistcoat I got in Keswick earlier in the year

It feels to early to be wearing my Fly Boots again but needs must

We went to Scorton Country fair in the Lake District at the weekend but the ground was so wet you needed your boots

Doesn't mean to say you can't wear a lacy top and a pretty petticoat.  I was the only one though all the other ladies were in their jeggings or ripped jeans, neither of which I own or are likely to.  Give me a fancy skirt or frock any day

If you spot this little fella can you send him home please we are a bit worried about him

  1. Noooooo!!! I'm in my sandals today, the sun is (sort of) shining and it's not too bad at all. I can't bear the thought of spending the next eight months in winter gear - if anything was an incentive to book a trip to India....
Gorgeous details in your outfit and your pretty petticoat beats a pair of manky grey leggings any day of the week! xxx

  2. Indeed, aren't leggings, 'jeggings' (even the name is ugly) and ripped jeans just the worst look ever.

Ten Bob Ted just has to be the most characterful bear ever. Have you really lost him?

    1. I haven't seen him since I got back from Inverness. There's been a search party out for him but no sightings as yet :-(

  3. The weather's just dreadful here, and I actually wore boots today. I don't think I ever succumbed to them this early ... I really can't see the appeal of ripped jeans, not to mention jeggings. You're looking lovely on your fancy skirts and petticoats! Oh, and what happened to Ten Bob Ted? xxx
