Friday fish, flowers and frocks

We are a bit yellow around the gills after getting up close and personal with these bad boys at the local garden centre.
They were all up for having your fingers off waiting for food.
Keeping with the yellow theme these pretty miniature daffodils came
from my niece Keeley's shop at the garden centre
Here's Auntie Gladys waving a cheery hello to you all
after our trip out where she thought I had transported her to a foreign country
No, we are not in Thailand or Jurassic Park, it's the garden centre
"Peace be with you all this weekend" said the Buddha to the fly
Nearly forgot to show you the skirt my friend made me out of a curtain
Curtain skirt, jumper from Stockport Vintage Village last weekend, tricel cardi charity shop

I haven't got a pic of me in the curtain dress yet but the pic below is the next curtain outfit Val is making for me.  I've got enough for a frock, skirt and top. Stay tuned for the results as she works quite quickly.

  8. I was out all day today and just got home. Glad I stopped by because I loved seeing
Aunt Gladys at the Garden Center and your lovely flowers. Of course, that skirt is AWESOME. Recycling at its best if you ask me. Again, sorry I was late visiting today and wishing you a memorable weekend.

  10. Hello Aunty Gladys! What a lovely lady she looks. Yes, it can be quite an adventure at garden centres these days. You never know what you might find. Piranhas posing as goldfish? I love yellow, especially right at the end of winter. Xxx
