Artist Lynn Muir's wooden figures |
Hello everyone over at Mrs Dunnit's place
wish these boots were mine |
I'm stamping my feet in frustration this week
as the only creating going on is in the form of
creative accountancy
As you can see the dreaded VAT return is
due and I've not put pen to paper yet.
wish this chair was mine |
These are the only kind of books I'd like to be sifting through
right now but there's no time for that sadly.
Have a good week everyone.
hope you get it done soon! happy next week maybe?!! Helen #2
ReplyDeleteOh Lynn, a couple of things caught my eye this week. Those little wooden figures by Lynn Muir are just so cute.really different and quirky!! I can see these in paper!! That CHAIR is brilliant!!! All chairs should be like this with all our fav books to hand ready for the next reading session. So sorry about TAX time!!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing a whistle stop tour of all my fav blogs before the painter arrives this morning.
ReplyDeleteGroan.....more book keeping? Poor you....not my fav job so hope yours gets done quickly so you can get back to having crafty fun.

Oh dear everyone seems busy with tax affairs :-( I like those wooden figures and the chair with the books!!! Love books. Anne x #19
ReplyDeleteOOOhhhh, VAT returns....shudders...I can't think of anything worse to do. It reminds of a scene in Black Books where Bernard, the shop owner, is so desperate to avoid doing his tax returns that he resorts to desperate measures like cleaning and folding his socks, lolol!! That would be me :-)
ReplyDeleteAm loving the book chair...wonder if it could be adapted to be a knitting one as well!
Hugs, LLJ 17 xx
I love the book chair - I would have that in my home, and the little figures are so sweet. Just seen your comment on Julia's and I've lost a load of followers too, so it's nice to know it's not just me and there's a reason for it! Good luck with the VAT, hope you are soon back doing fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteDiana xx
I know and feel your pain! It won't take long to actually do the VAT return, but I have to close January first, and I haven't even sat at my desk this morning after yesterday's great start!
ReplyDeleteNever mind, tease yourself in the carrot and stick way!
this chair-library impressed me so deep. It's the great wish to get it. I hope you'll get it.
ReplyDeleteOmg I want that chair its fab. Happy woyww Jill #16

Oh, you're not the only one doing VAT returns apparently. Poor you. I hope you get it done soon (eh, I mean in time)
ReplyDeleteYour images of pretty boots and a fantastic reading chair has lifted my spirits.
Thanks for your visit, hug and encouragement,
Happy WOYWWednesday,
Lisca
Good luck with the books - horrid job I imagine. Fab boots!! x Jo
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your vat return! One of the less glamorous aspects of being self-employed, hey? The wooden figures are so quirky! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #32
ReplyDeleteLove those boots are fab and adorable little wooden figures hugs Nikki 3
ReplyDeleteAlso pocket letters are a fun new thing and you'll have fun time making them if you give them a try
DeleteA necessary evil but at least you were able to balance it out with some gorgeous pics. Love those boots.

Oooohhhh, that chair! I am drooling all over my keyboard... I want a chair like that!!! I hope you will soon be able to read 'proper books' (and do some crafting too?) Love from (still noisy) Holland, Marit #29
ReplyDeleteI love the funky pics of things on your wish list, Lynn! What fun. I particularly like those wooden figures. You have my sympathy over the books. I always seem to be trying to catch up with myself doing the wretched accounts. I hate doing them. The only reason the job ended up being mine is that I am marginally better at it than my hubby lol!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and your two lovely comments - you are welcome to come and rummage in my stuff any time you like lol!! I do have rather a lot... Glad you like the teabag project. I've got lots of ideas for further projects using them. They are incredibly versatile. You should definitely give them a try!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #28
