WHAT'S ON YOUR WORKDESK TODAY .......

Artist Lynn Muir's wooden figures

Hello everyone over at Mrs Dunnit's place

wish these boots were mine

I'm stamping my feet in frustration this week
as the only creating going on is in the form of
creative accountancy

As you can see the dreaded VAT return is
due and I've not put pen to paper yet.

wish this chair was mine

These are the only kind of books I'd like to be sifting through
right now but there's no time for that sadly.

 Have a good week everyone.

  2. Oh Lynn, a couple of things caught my eye this week. Those little wooden figures by Lynn Muir are just so cute.really different and quirky!! I can see these in paper!! That CHAIR is brilliant!!! All chairs should be like this with all our fav books to hand ready for the next reading session. So sorry about TAX time!!

  5. OOOhhhh, VAT returns....shudders...I can't think of anything worse to do. It reminds of a scene in Black Books where Bernard, the shop owner, is so desperate to avoid doing his tax returns that he resorts to desperate measures like cleaning and folding his socks, lolol!! That would be me :-)
Am loving the book chair...wonder if it could be adapted to be a knitting one as well!

  6. I love the book chair - I would have that in my home, and the little figures are so sweet. Just seen your comment on Julia's and I've lost a load of followers too, so it's nice to know it's not just me and there's a reason for it! Good luck with the VAT, hope you are soon back doing fun stuff!

  7. I know and feel your pain! It won't take long to actually do the VAT return, but I have to close January first, and I haven't even sat at my desk this morning after yesterday's great start!
Never mind, tease yourself in the carrot and stick way!

  19. Oooohhhh, that chair! I am drooling all over my keyboard... I want a chair like that!!! I hope you will soon be able to read 'proper books' (and do some crafting too?) Love from (still noisy) Holland, Marit #29

  20. I love the funky pics of things on your wish list, Lynn! What fun. I particularly like those wooden figures. You have my sympathy over the books. I always seem to be trying to catch up with myself doing the wretched accounts. I hate doing them. The only reason the job ended up being mine is that I am marginally better at it than my hubby lol!!

Thanks for your visit and your two lovely comments - you are welcome to come and rummage in my stuff any time you like lol!! I do have rather a lot... Glad you like the teabag project. I've got lots of ideas for further projects using them. They are incredibly versatile. You should definitely give them a try!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
