What's on my desk - Lavender Ravioli

Take some assorted pieces of fabric and a bag of lavender

Add a handful of buttons
Cut fabric into squares using pinking shears
Machine stitch around three sides
Fill with lavender then stitch the last side
Finish with a bit of handstitching and buttons
And there you have it.
Be warned these are addictive once you start.

Now what's next ?
Oh yes, we are off to London at the weekend and will be bopping along to the Motown Musical Show at the Shaftesbury Theatre as well as a bit of cultural fun down on Brick Lane on Sunday.

There's time for a bit of desk hopping though first
over at Mrs D's place

Love your little lavender ravioli's, what a good idea. Those would be lovely to make and include when you send a gift to someone, just a little rav as an extra.

  7. What beautiful buttons you have - not to mention the tray cloth I saw poking underneath the bags. Have a good trawl down Brick Lane - I usually go there on the way to Whitechapel Gallery but the curries are still better here in Brum. Don't lose your voice joining in with the Motown x Jackie 24

  29. Hi Lynn! Thanks for visiting last week, I'm catching up with everything this evening!

These are really adorable. What a fantastic way to use up some smaller scraps too! Incidentally, have we met (up north or online) before? Your name is so familiar and we're kind of local-ish!
