A desk full of goodies

I've been to London and not had time to do much on the desk
except play with my new things

How do you like the little print trays I got off Covent Garden market.
I got chatting with the stallholder Daniel Fenton and he told me that his father had been a printer for many years and his father before him.  He had some fabulous stuff and gave me a good price for my little stash.

I know this is supposed to be a Tealight holder but as most people know I never use anything for what its supposed to be used for. So watch this space.

This is a book and a scrap pack I got from my most favourite shop in London
JESSIE CHORLEY on COLUMBIA ROAD
Anyone who likes papercrafting, textile art, messing around with haberdashery etc will love this place.
Jessie also runs workshops. Good job I don't live down there or I would never be away.
If you go to Columbia Road make sure its on a Sunday when its the flower market.  The whole area is buzzing and there's lots of quirky shops and stalls.
I will be writing more about our trip to London this week on my blog

But now it's time for a bit of desk hopping over at Mrs D's place

  12. Ooh, I love all your gorgeous new goodies - the print trays are lovely and I've used that company a few times over the years - I have one print tray finished and on the wall (it took about 3 and a half years) and I have one half done - 2 years and counting! I am looking forward to seeing what you do with that gorgeous tealight holder - no doubt it will be ingenious and delightful and elicit a loud Oooooh from me!

  18. I'm just in from my afternoon school run and having done the morning school run and a full day of sewing in between I'm feeling rather jaded but as you can imagine those little ones never fail to put a smile on my face so it's all worth it.
Thanks for dropping by at mine earlier.
I really love your finds from London and will be watching closely to see what develops from some of them.

  21. Ooh, I'm intrigued as to how your tea light holder will turn put. Do you remember a programme on the telly years ago called 'Change that'? You'd have loved it. We went to the flower market last summer. We were packed in like sardines, thousands of people squeezing past each other. Quite an experience! Xxx
