What's on my workdesk today .....

Not a lot on my desk this week but there are things to do.
Like mend my glasses with a safety pin.
Think about what I am going to put in the little glass frames
I picked up in London on our last trip down there.
When I was sat at my desk looking at my inspiration
wall one of my mood boards leapt out at me.
How poignant it seems this week.

  4. I agree - the mood boards are lovely, and yes, also poignant. It's all just so sad. Seeing your glasses mended with a pin did raise a smile, as did the drawn lady in her checkerboard top, so that helped lighten my mood just a bit.

    not late, for a change!
    Happy WOYWW!

  8. Your mood boards are quite wonderful and yes, wasn't that serendipitous, that Paris one jumping out? It's good to remember all the positives about Paris.....Not just what's been in the news this week.

  10. Love that little mini-Lynn in the first photo, and you're showing your classiness, fixing your specs with a safety pin rather than an Elatoplast, a la Jack Duckworth!
What an amazing wall of mood boards; yes, the beautiful image with the Eiffel Tower is very timely. xxx

  11. I think the safety pin in the glasses is a good look - must suggest that to hubby when he loses his screw yet again. I love your mood boards on cork tiles - you can see them all the time instead of them being filed away - great idea. Jackie #21

  14. The perfect mood board because all our hearts are with France. So I have an idea. Until you take or make the art that will go in those lovely frames, you could just put some pretty patterned paper in there! I have some patterned papers I love and have thought about doing that. Have a good week! Sandy Leigh #42

  21. There is always many interesting things on your work desk! And I guess that mood board gives you more and more ideas. I brought nice shells from my holidays and am thinking to make something beautiful with them but alas, still can't find time for it.
