I've been to the secondhand market in Todmorden, West Yorkshire today. I'm sorry my lovely friends Anne and David couldn't make it but we are going to be doing it again.
I bought things for the garden like this old wooden tool box and a little iron. £10 for the two.
This colourful bowl was a £1.
My favourite find are these bakerlite scales with a copper weigh dish for £5. I'm going to mount them on the outside wall of the house and put alpines in them.
Lovely finds Lynn. You're good at finding bonny bargains ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that your visitors couldn't make it after all.
Xxx
I know it's a shame but there's all summer to go at yet. I've just written this blog post on my phone. Isn't that clever x
DeleteWow Lynn, you got some lovely things! I wish we could have made it, it took me until the afternoon to get my work finished but it was successful, thank goodness - I can breathe again. I would have been looking for vintage lace today but we will definitely go another time - soon! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteI bet that's a wonderful place to have a root around in - love your purchases!
