  9. Oh the scrim is amazing - a whole new art form! Love the cards, golly Kraft card could have been invented to act as a foil for your works!

  10. Great minds, Lynn - I've put embroidery on hold for a short while and made a handful of cards with my lacy/fabric/scrim bits, as I have a lot of birthdays coming up shortly. I love yours - did you actually get the sewing machine to sew through the background card or is that white pen? I'm not sure my machine would cope! What a perfect match that bowl is with your altered linen cloth - gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by! I enjoyed knitting the purse and will be making some more, the next one will have a flat bottom though.

  23. That's incredible, I can't believe a machine can do that. Is it a normal sewing machine or something special to do that? Whatever it is, you did a fantastic job.
    Have a great week.

  24. Hi Lynn, still ploughing my way around the desks, sorry i'm late to yours. I love your cards, they are very touchy feely if you know what I mean, and your charity shop find goes perfect with your linen cloth. The texture in your embroidered builders scrim is lovely, I wonder what builders do with scrim? Your blog, desk, studio always seems like an area of calm in this mad crafty world. Hugs Mo x #60

  26. OK, here's the thing, first I am apologizing for not having been around, but I have been uber busy and now I am going to have the audacity to ask you to do a favor for me ( shakes head, I'm shameless ) But I am in a contest and sad to say but it's the truth, it's a popularity vote, so here's the favor...would you be so kind to go over and vote for me? I sure would appreciate it from the bottom of my pitiful heart! lol (vote for the camera, please ) (http://www.genuinelyjanestudios.com/genuinelyblog/gjs-design-a-book-contest-top-three-finalists-announced/ waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥ #19
