Well it is not exactly on my desk, it is on my wall.
My finished lace piece from Karen Ruane's lace course
As someone who didnt stitch I am amazed at what Karen has managed to bring out in me over the three courses I have done with her.
And as if she hasn't had enough of me yet I have signed up for her new online course that starts in June.
One of our lessons this week was free motion embroidery on scrim.
I better get back to work now as I got that carried away daydreaming at my desk while I was watching my lace hanging gently swing round I have'nt done a thing.
Tune into some more workdesks here
For someone who didn't sew you are doing an amazing job :-) Love it.

That’s very pretty Lynn, it reminds me of a cool breeze on a hot sunny day. (wishful thinking in reality me thinks....the weather I mean, not your beautiful work) It certainly looks like your courses have paid off.

It's a great course isn't it Lynn - I love your hanging piece, and I particularly love the way you've attached it at the top. I won't be joining Karen't next course - the family have missed me over the last two weeks and the house needs a good clean! But I shall be keeping a close eye on your blog to see what you are up to!
