Back at Sunnybank

With all the bad weather its only this week we have managed to make calendars with the ladies of Sunnybank Day Centre Craft Club.

We put washi tape around the edge of the board then drew round the calendar to make box shapes before sticking it down.
Then the ladies each did their own design in the boxes.
Here are some lovely valentine cards that Susan did last time.
Susan's factoids were hilarious, totally out of season, they were on Christmas. We heard about Iceland having 13 Santas called the Christmas Boys who are the sons of two trolls who eat naughty children.
Santa's reindeers must be female as they dont shed their antlers, yet they all have male sounding names.
Mistletoe is a DUNG TWIG.  Birds spread the seeds through their droppings. Its the last time I am having a kiss under the mistletoe.
