Where was I yesterday ?

You may have already guessed from this first picture if you have read my blogs in the past.
First up I delivered a cheque to the Sue Ryder Charity Shop for the money I raised from the sale of the bags I illustrated sold for them.
Can  you guess from these pictures where I went ?
I ventured into the wonderful wooden toy shop ENCHANTING WOOD and had a nice chat with shop owner Premsa. I got two beautiful wooden toys for the kiddywinks next door to me.  Have a look at Premsa's website it has some great animations.
Have you guessed yet ?

There's a lovely new shop there too run by Roger & Sarah.
Midas Moon Contemporary Fashion Accessories
Roger told me that they are stocking the work of local designers like the fabulous fabric bags above by Alison Stansfield.  They also have jewellery designs by Dee Kerslake
The shop is on the lovely cobbled street of Water Street.

You guessed it I was in TODMORDEN (again)

FINALLY
Photo: Some of the pride jewellery... Well, at least it will be :o) x
Can I just give a push for a young lady whose handmade jewelley we have seen before.
 Angelini Designs (link here)
She is on Todmorden market Thursday, Friday & Sunday.
She will be at the Manchester Pride Event  25-27th August and is working hard to get everything ready.  So lets wish her a lot of luck as she has spent a fortune on renting a stall.

I HOPE YOU LIKED THE TRIP ROUND TODMORDEN
WHERE THE TRADERS ARE FRIENDLY AND THE SCENERY BREATHTAKING.
IF YOU LOOK ON THE SIDE BAR UNDER WORD SEARCH, PRESS ON TODMORDEN YOU WILL SEE MY OTHER TRIPS THERE.

  7. Hi Lynn,

Congratulations for delivering the check! You are such a thoughtful and talented soul.

The markets you have there are so cool looking! There might be something similar in Albuquerque, which is almost a two hour drive away.

    Hugs,
    kay
