KISS AND TELL AT SUNNYBANK

There was a great deal of concentration going
on at Sunnybank Craft Club this morning.

Melvyn & Mona

It maybe that  the members were still thinking about the factoids Susan had put together about books.

Including the fact that Jane Austen throughout all of her writing only mentioned kissing eleven times.  Mild by today's standards

Working with a tray of foam shapes and a glue stick but no design sheet each member worked out what animal shape their bookmark represented.

Some really good results
After a cuppa we made a second bookmark using rub ons and adding a piece of ribbon.  I took in the pile of markers I have accumulated over the years. There are leather, paper, laminated and metal ones.  Some with photographs on them and also books with sewn in bookmarks.
We  also talked about favourite books and what type of books people read.
Using my Ipad everyone enjoyed having a go at reading Kindle books.  Most people liked it and the idea of being able to enlarge the typeset. (I am a real book person myself).

A lovely cooked three course lunch followed with a lot of chat, banter and laughter.
ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL MONDAY MORNING AT SUNNYBANK.
