NOTEBOOKS AND SUNNY SMILES

It was lovely to be back at Sunnybank where despite the weather people  turned out for our fortnightly craft club.  We have a new room, which is nice and bright and with new storage units we have everything to hand.
Susan entertained us with the facts she had researched on this week's project NOTEBOOKS. As usual she managed to come up with some real trivia that had us laughing and oohing and aahing "that we did'nt know that"
We also sang happy birthday to her and I promised not to write how old she is this time. You do look good though Sue for someone who's been on the pension for five years.
Oh no ! one of those pesky Doodly Birds has got in on the act.
These are some of the notebooks that members decorated using pieces of coloured foam, paper flowers, felt pens, buttons, double sided tape and glue sticks.  Are'nt they lovely.  Sessions cost £2 including materials

Everyday sees 20-30 local people come in for a nourishing three course lunch and a natter.  Many stay on for the afternoon's activities or are already there from the morning events.
The caring staff give their all to make sure that Sunnybank is a warm welcoming place for people to come to during the week,  so there is no need to be without a bit of company or to use your own heating (hee hee).  Come along and join in.

I am adding a link here to Sunnybank Day Centre so that you can see what else goes on the rest of the week.
